STERIM Control Tubes for Dry Heat Sterilization

Glass tubes filled with a red indicator fluid designed for dry heat sterilization (DRY). They are used to monitor sterilization at 160°C for 60 minutes. The tubes should be placed inside the packaging together with the materials being sterilized and then distributed in different areas of the sterilizer chamber.

These tubes are a type 5 indicator – the indicator substance changes color after the specified time and temperature are reached (60 minutes at 160°C). When the sterilization process is successful, the color changes from intense pink to transparent/light yellow. If the result is negative (no color change), the sterilization process must be repeated.

The dimensions of a single tube are 45 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter. Each package contains 100 individual STERIM Control Tubes.
