ATP Test for Fluid Analysis

Measuring ATP molecules is a highly precise method for assessing cleanliness. The collected sample is exposed to a test substance that reacts with ATP to produce light. The amount of light is measured with a luminometer, providing the final test result.

The AquaSnap™ Total swab is designed for water testing and detects both free ATP and microbiological ATP. Its specially shaped tip allows for collecting a consistent volume of liquid each time, ensuring repeatable test results and reliable detection of ATP in the same water volume.
AquaSnap™ is contained in a sterile, elongated tube. After sampling, the swab is placed back into the tube. The test reagent is activated by squeezing the reservoir, and the swab is then placed into the luminometer to read the result.

Using AquaSnap™ tests is completely safe for humans and food. The reagent reacting with ATP molecules is neutral and does not require special disposal procedures.

EnSure luminometers allow for easy archiving and further processing of data from multiple samples collected with AquaSnap™ swabs, simplifying sanitary documentation.
