Seal Check Test - STERIM

The quality of sealing is crucial for maintaining the sterility of sterilized packages. Modern sterilization pouches and sleeves are made from materials that allow proper, tight seals, but achieving this requires correct sealer settings – temperature and pressure. Therefore, periodic verification of sealer performance using a seal quality test is essential.

Placing the seal check test sheet inside the sterilization package (at the sealing location) provides information about the seal quality. A uniform black line should appear along the closure.

STERIM Seal Checker seal control test can be used to verify the proper operation of rotary and impulse sealers of various types and manufacturers.
