Type 4 chemical indicators STERIM SIM-250 can be used in all types of steam sterilizers, regardless of chamber size. It is essential to place the indicator inside every sterilization package. The indicator substance applied on the strip is neutral and does not affect the sterilization process or the quality of sterilized materials.
STERIM Type 4 strips should change the indicator color from blue to black after a correctly completed sterilization cycle. The color change must be uniform across the entire strip.

Type 4 chemical indicators for steam sterilization STERIM are ideal for small instruments (burs, dental drills, caps, podiatry tools). Their design and ability to be divided into four parts make them perfectly suited even for small sterilization pouches, without affecting the accuracy of results.
