Thermal Disinfection Control Tests

Sterim® DES Control thermal disinfection tests can be used in various types of washer-disinfectors. They are available in two variants – for monitoring 93°C for 10 minutes or 90°C for 5 minutes.

The strip contains a test substance applied in a circular form. Place the test in the device chamber at the location with the lowest temperature on the instrument tray. After the process, the chemical indicator should turn black.

DES Control thermal disinfection test is self-adhesive, which makes it easy to place successive tests in the medical facility's documentation.
