PCD Tube for Steam Sterilization Load Control

STERIM® PCD Control replicates the conditions of a 150-cm φ1mm Helix-type test tube, allowing effective verification of vacuum quality and steam penetration capability.

The device holds both biological and chemical indicators. Chemical test results can be read immediately after the sterilization cycle (through color change of the test substance), while biological test results are evaluated after incubation (for the BI Smart Read test – 3-5 hours).

The STERIM® PCD Control is made of stainless steel coated with a polymer layer. This layer equalizes temperature and prevents heat accumulation that may occur in fully metal devices.
