The preparation is in the form of a dry mist (aerosol with very small particles) with a concentration of 7.5% H₂O₂. Its biocidal action results from the oxidizing properties of hydrogen peroxide. The very high effectiveness in neutralizing bacteria, viruses (including SARS-CoV-2), and fungi allows the use of the dry mist disinfection method in facilities particularly exposed to contamination.
The agent is characterized by material compatibility with all materials commonly used in sensitive facilities.
PX07 (also referred to as HP75) is a ready-to-use agent intended for use in TwinCruiser® decontaminators of types LC, VGF, and VGX. One or two PX07 containers can be placed in the device.
