Sterilization Tape 25mm with Indicator

The purpose of the sterilization tape is to secure a pack made of crepe paper. The tape must maintain the shape of the pack regardless of the high temperature and steam exposure typical of the steam sterilization process.

By placing a Type I indicator directly on the sterilization tape, each sealed pack is marked to quickly assess whether it has already undergone sterilization.
Sterilization tape is made of durable beige crepe paper coated with a synthetic elastomer with excellent adhesive properties. The indicator appears as green stripes on the tape at an angle. The test area changes color from green to black when exposed: 30 minutes at 121°C, 4 minutes at 132°C, or 3 minutes at 135°C.

To ensure proper pack durability, it should be fully sealed with tape along the entire length and width so that tape ends overlap by at least 10 cm.
The sealing process can be sped up and simplified using a tape dispenser.
